Dreamers Academy opened its doors in 2020 in Gbawe, Ghana, with a bold vision: to create a school where children are not only taught, but empowered to think, create, lead, and make a difference.

From the beginning, Dreamers Academy was founded as a social enterprise school, putting children and their learning experience at the heart of everything we do. Rather than focusing on profit, the school reinvests its income directly into improving educational programs, learning resources, technology, and opportunities for our students.

At the heart of our approach is pupil-led learning. We encourage children to take an active role in their education—to ask questions, explore their interests, solve problems, and take ownership of their learning journey. We believe that when children are given a voice and the confidence to use it, they develop into independent thinkers and lifelong learners.

Our vision extends beyond the classroom. We want every child to grow into a confident, compassionate, and capable individual who can identify challenges, imagine possibilities, and take meaningful action.

Today, Dreamers Academy continues to build on that founding vision: investing in children, strengthening our community, and preparing a new generation of Ghanaian dreamers, leaders, and innovators to create the positive change they want to see in the world.
