Welcome to the Dreamers Academy Website. We aim to provide a glimpse into the vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere t created by our students and staff daily. Our belief is that every child should be a happy, well-rounded, and confident learner, embodying qualities of respect, thoughtfulness, and motivation. We hold dear the values of integrity, kindness, and good manners, which serve as the foundation of all our endeavors.

Dreamers Academy fosters a caring environment within and outside of school for all individuals involved, including children, parents, staff, and the community. Our goal is to ensure that every child has a positive and rewarding experience. We are dedicated to offering a nurturing, friendly, and safe space where our students can learn and play in a relaxed and secure setting, enabling them to achieve their fullest potential.

Admission Policy:

Dreamers Academy accepts students starting from 1 year of age, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, social background, or disability. Testing is conducted for students from Pre-K and above.

Registration Process:

- The school's Admission Office handles all registrations.

- Registrations are accepted from birth, but not before a child is born. Due to limited availability, parents are advised to contact the school soon after their child's birth.

- Parents are informed about the school's ethos, aims, and organization, which can be viewed on the school website.

- Parents with a definite place visit the school to meet the Headmistress to receive a tour and complete registration forms.

- Definite registration requires a fee of GHC 200 per child, along with a registration fee of GHC 2500.

- Those on the waitlist follow a similar process but with a fee of GHC 100.

- Entry points for Reception classes are for children turning four in September, with limited class sizes.

- Entry at other points requires completion of a Waiting List form and payment of a registration fee.

- Acceptance of places requires completion of acceptance forms and payment of a deposit.

- First term's fees are due in March of the year of entry.

- Siblings of current pupils are given priority.

- Detailed records are maintained for each child’s admissions information.

Inclusivity and Special Educational Needs:

- The school is committed to inclusivity and provides support for students with special educational needs.

- Parents must disclose any relevant health or development information about their child.

- The school may withdraw an offer based on incomplete disclosure.

- Support will continue as long as the school can meet the child's needs and deems it beneficial.

English as an Additional Language (EAL):

- EAL support is integrated into lessons without withdrawal.

- Various methods are used to encourage English language acquisition tailored to the child's age and abilities.
